Health related quality of life in Volgograd region

The object of this research was population rates
of health related quality of life in Volgograd region.
480 residents of this region from 18 to 85 years of
age were interrogated with SF-36 questionnaire.
328 of them were townsmen and 152 of them were
villagers. Social rates of life in Volgograd region
(educational attainment, employment rate, housing
conditions, well-being, health conditions) and their
influence on quality of life were studied. There was
noted a significant predominance of the quality of
life of the male population over the quality of life in
women.
