Experimental stimulation of reparative dentinogenesis after vital amputation of the pulp of the tooth

The article is devoted to the morphometric assessment of the effectiveness of reparative dentinogenesis after vital amputation of pulp during tooth filling with calcium hydroxide and calcium silicate modified by light-curing resin. The experiment was carried out on 48 teeth (lower Central incisors) of 6 sheep aged 2.5 to 3 years, weighing 25 to 40 kg, contained in the same conditions of vivarium. The duration of observation after the beginning of the experiment was 15, 30 and 90 days. The results of the study showed that the use only of calcium silicate modified by the light-curing resin after the vital extirpation of the coronal pulp by the 90th day of the experiment leads to the formation of a biological barrier from organized secondary dentin and cellular cement, progenitor cells, which are an important component of the reparative regeneration of the pulp.
