Serological monitoring of arbovirus infections in Stavropol region

The paper presents the results of blood sera tests of persons (blood donors), which reside in various natural and climatic zones of Stavropol Territory, for the presence of class G antibodies to the causative agents of arbovirus infections. The results revealed cases of immunity to Crimean hemorrhagic fever, West Nile encephalitis, tick-born encephalitis among population. The presence of specific antibodies to the arboviruses in the local population proves the occurrence of inapparent infections with transmission mechanism involving blood-sucking arthropods.
