Surgical approach in complicated cholelithiasis among the patients of senile age

The comparative analysis of various approaches, used in surgical treatment of cholelithiasis complications among 126 patients of senile age is given in this article. Laparoscopic approach (LA) is applied in 42 observations, mini approach (MA) – in 41 and traditional extensive laparotomy (TEL) – in 43 cases. The duration of cholecystectomy in LA is 61,5±3,1 min.; in MA –
59,6±3,2 min.; in TEL – 50,15±2,1 minutes. Intraoperative complications in LA are registered in 7,0%; in MA – in 5,9%; in TEL – in 8,1% observations. Postoperative complications: LA – 11,9%; MA – 7,2%; TEL – 14,0%. The total hospitalization term: LA – 7,9±1,3; MA – 8,8±2,3; TEL – 13,6±3,3 patient days. Mortality: at LA – 0, at MA – 0, at TEL – 2,3%.
