Medical-diagnostic approach in adolescents with lower limb varicosity

The results of diagnosis and treatment of 136 children and adolescents with lower limb varicosity. According to the CEAP classification of the degree of varices were as follows: C0 – 34 patients, C1 – 67 C2 – 35. The choice of treatment strategy and tactics, as well as the effectiveness of therapeutic action in patients with varicose veins depended on timely diagnostic program, clinical and anatomical forms of the disease according to the CEAP classification, and suggested the use of modern techniques of conservative and surgical treatment in children and adolescents. Applied Medical-Diagnostic approach allowed in 80.7% of cases to achieve a good outcome of treatment in children with lower limb varicosity.
