The possibility of optimization of surgical interventions on the pancreas, taking into account the topography of arterial vessels, is considered. 38 pancreas were studied by the method of anatomical preparation. The topography of arterial vessels was assessed on a transverse section of the organ in the isthmus region. The topography of the main arteries of the isthmus of the pancreas is relatively constant and does not depend on the variant of their origin. On a transverse section of the pancreas, the zones of possible passage of arteries are located rather superficially in the peripancreatic tissue and pancreatic tissue.
