Pathogenesis and surgical treatment of posttraumatic pancreatitis in children

A literature review is devoted to pancreatic injury and post-traumatic pancreatitis in children. The pathogenesis of posttraumatic pancreatitis and various approaches to surgical treatment of pancreatic injury in children are presented. The data given in the work show the need for further research on the problem under discussion.
