Comparative evaluation and clinical effectiveness of various methods of intra-abdominal abscesses sanation

The article presents the results of surgical treatment of 82 patients with intra-abdominal abscesses. Under ultra sound control drainage of the intra-abdominal abscess cavity using the device for cavitary formation drainage and sanation of abscess were carried out. Depending on the way of sanation patients were divided into 2 groups. In the index group nitrogen monoxide was applied, in the comparative group – 0,05% aqueous chlorhexidine. The following advantages of nitrogen monoxide were observed: fast dyspeptic and pain symptoms relief, digestive function recovery, normalization of body temperature, reduction of intoxication indicators in 5 days, expressed bactericidal effect and reducing treatment duration of up to three days.
