The present study aimed to examine burnout syndrome (BOS) in dentists. The sample involved 171 professionals of different lengths of experience. The results indicated that 77.8 % of dentists experience professional stress, whereas 63.2 % report emotional fatigue. The most vulnerable Group consisted of young professionals with limited experience; women more frequently reported feelings of depersonalization, while men experienced higher levels of emotional exhaustion. Key risk factors identified were high work demands, lack of organizational support, and low job satisfaction. Significant differences in levels of depression and asthenia were found between groups with different lengths of service. The conducted research highlights the need for a personalized approach in mitigating the negative impact of BOS on dentists’ health.
