This study investigated the prevalence and clinical features of dental diseases in HIV-infected patients who had recovered from COVID-19. A total of 302 patients were included, consisting of 149 individuals post-COVID-19 and 153 in the control group. All patients were undergoing antiretroviral therapy and maintained an undetectable viral load. Dental examinations were conducted in accordance with WHO standards, and statistical analysis was performed using the χ² test. The main group showed a significant increase in the incidence of complicated dental caries, gingivitis, periodontitis, oral candidiasis, herpes infection, aphthous stomatitis, and cheilitis (p<0.05). These findings indicate a negative impact of COVID-19 on the oral health of HIV-infected patients.
