A study of the combined treatment effectiveness in 30 patients with post-traumatic mixed contracture of the proximal interphalangeal joint of the hand is presented. Patients are divided into 3 groups. The first group received combined treatment, including arthrolysis of the joint, the imposition of a dynamic distraction apparatus, the introduction of hyaluronic acid preparations and platelet-rich plasma, for the second group it was performed arthrolysis of the joint and the imposition of the device, for the third – performed only arthrotomy. The results indicate the effectiveness of all three methods of treatment, however, in the group where the combined treatment was carried out, the improvement in the angles of the joint function and the reduction of pain were significantly more often observed, which ultimately led to better functional indicators of the hand and a reduction in the treatment time.
