The results of the analysis of indicators of complex assessment of somatic health of students in educational institutions of different types of Stavropol in the context of school-related factors are presented. It is revealed that a significant impact on the health of school-age children has a set of biomedical and socio-hygienic factors, including «school-related» ones. The formation and strengthening of the physical health of students of the cadet school contribute to the special regime conditions and requirements for their compliance, a longer stay in school, a combination of training with strict regulation of the internal daily routine, physical activity, work, rest and nutrition.
