Treatment of patients with unilateral oblique fracture of the mandible

The analysis of the results of treatment of 69 patients with a one-sided oblique fractures of the mandible was carried out. The patients of the group were compared by osteosynthesis with one miniplate on the lower edge of the jaw, patients of the main group by means of a bone suture developed by the authors. At the same time, the additional immobilization of
the lower jaw with the surgical wire was used. Comparative analysis of the results of treatment showed high efficiency of osteosynthesis by the bone suture according to the method developed by the authors.
