Nataliya Panshina; Ludmila Shilova;
The level of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-17, TNF-α, IL-1b, IL-8) and anti-inflammatory cytokine (IL-10) was detected in the blood serum of 83 patients with psoriatic arthritis. Significantly increased serum concentration of the pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1b, TNF-α, IL-8, IL-17 and decreased concentration of anti-inflammatory IL-10 was revealed. The TNF-α concentration was significantly increased in the polyarthritic psoriatic arthritis; in the spondyloarthritic type of the disease, high IL-8 indices were observed. Correlation of the investigated cytokines with clinical and laboratory manifestations of psoriatic arthritis was observed.
