Objects were 203 children with bronchial obstruction aged from 1 month through 18 years in the period from 1999 to 2013. 81 patient suffered from mixed cystic fibrosis (CF), 54 – from atypical pneumonia (AP), 68 – from a recurrent obstructive bronchitis (OB). A control group consisted of 61 children of the same age without chronic diseases and not belonging to the group of sickly children. Mineral status was studied. Hair was used as a biological substrate. Reliable significant changes in levels of Na+, B+3 and Pb+4 at CF were revealed in the CF group. These data were opposite to those in AP and OB groups. The above findings provide evidence for Na+, B+3 and Pb+ 4 detection in the hair of children suffering from diseases accompanied by bronchoobstructive syndrome to improve the differential diagnosis.
