The problem of treating fractures of the condylar process of the mandible is due to the severity of serious complications such as ankylosis of the temporomandibular joint and contractures of the mandible. The aim of the study is to monitor dynamically a patient after arthroplasty of the temporomandibular joint. Clinical, radiological and functional methods of examining the temporomandibular joint after restoration of the articular head of the mandible with a titanium implant were used. Based on retrospective clinical material, the effectiveness of using a titanium implant in cases of destruction of the head of the mandible, as well as in high and multi-fragmentary condylar process fractures, which allows preserving the function of the temporomandibular joint, was confirmed.
