Pemphigoid gestationis is a rare autoimmune skin disease that occurs in late pregnancy and in the postpartum period. Obstetricians-gynecologists and dermatologists do not have a sufficiently insight into this pathology. This article offers an overview of epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical features, differential diagnosis and applied methods of treatment of the said disease. There is also the presentation of a clinical pemphigoid gravidarum case in a multigravida patient with a hypertensive complication of pregnancy. The delivery was followed by a complete regression of the disease symptoms.
