The commonly accepted global gold standard for treating limb lymphedema is complex decongestive therapy (CDT), which includes two stages. This article offers a clinical case of the treatment offered for giant secondary lymphedema of the lower extremities associated with recurrent erysipelas. There was positive dynamics to be observed, which revealed itself as a significant reduction in the edema as well as the volume of the lower extremities (up to 45 %); reduced deformation and physiological contour of the lower extremities. Besides, the treatment itself was accompanied by improved general wellbeing and a decrease in the patient’s weight by 53 kg, which occurred due to fluid loss.
