Anna Vladimirovna Grigoriadis; Andrey Kartashev; Konstantin Muravyov;
On the basis of a wide range of historical sources, the article builds a consistent picture of the development of the surgical dimension in medical practice in the region of the Caucasian Mineral Waters in the 19th century. The purpose of this article is to highlight the state of surgical care for the population in the region of the Caucasian Mineral Waters in the 19th century. Archival materials, works of doctors, statistical data and other literature of that period were used as historical sources. To recreate the general historical picture, in addition to general scientific approaches, historical-systemic, historical-genetic, and historical typological methods were used. The article reflects the role of N. V. Pirogov and V. I. Razumovsky.
