Postmastectomy syndrome is a common complication that occurs in patients after undergoing radical surgery for breast cancer. The modern concept of postmastectomy syndrome describes it as a complex of symptoms associated not only with impaired lymphatic drainage from the upper limb, but also with damage to the peripheral and central nervous system, which leads to a significant deterioration in the quality of life of patients in the postoperative period. The treatment and rehabilitation processes in postmastectomy syndrome should be multidisciplinary because of the variety of symptoms and damage of many body systems. The review examines a variety of neurological manifestations in post-mastectomy syndrome, analyzes the possibilities of modern neuroimaging methods in assessing symptoms and the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation Татьяна Александровнаmeasures.
