[Stomatology]
Marina Kozlova; Anastasia Sergeevna Belyakova;
In 60 patients with calculous sialoadenitis of the submandibular salivary gland, the state of mineral metabolism was studied before and after the concrementectomy. An increase in the secretion of parathyroid hormone, a decrease in serum levels of calcitonin and vitamin D were noted. Pharmacotherapy of the disorders of mineral metabolism contributed to a favorable course of the postoperative and rehabilitation periods of sialolithiasis treatment, and also reduced the frequency of the stone recurrence.
