Effect of endothelium dysfunction on hemostasis in patients after coronary bypass

In patients with coronary artery disease who underwent coronary artery bypass surgery, hemostasis was assessed before intervention and 6 months after. The relationship of the identified changes with the level of endothelin-1 in serum was determined. Assessment of hemostasis was performed by thrombodynamic, the level of endothelin-1 was determined using enzyme immunoassay. An increase in the thrombogenic potential of blood plasma and the level of endothelin-1 in serum was established in patients with coronary artery disease before CABG. 6 months after CABG in patients with an unfavorable outcome, the preservation of hypercoagulation and the positive association of these changes with an increased level of endothelin-1 were revealed. The results of this work can be used to optimize the conservative treatment of coronary artery disease in patients after CABG, in order to prevent complications.
