The article presents the results of determining the synthetic activity of the cerebral cortex in patients of elderly and senile age with completely absent dentition. To calculate the adaptability to prostheses, the degree of atrophy of the edentulous alveolar processes, their ratio and the peculiarities of patients’ oral stereognosia were taken into account. The proposed clinical diagnostic algorithm can be used to determine the adaptive ability of patients to removable dentures.
