The article is devoted to the experimental evaluation of the role of non-phagocytic granulocytes in cellular reactions in inflammatory process. The inflammatory process was investigated using the model of formalin edema and experimental subcutaneous granuloma on 24 male Wistar rats weighing 180–220 g. The phase reaction of non-phagocytic granulocytes, the first short-term, the most intense phase, observed during the first day after the reproduction of inflammation, the second phase (14–28 days) is less intense, prolonged, manifested by a repeated moderate increase in cell degranulation simultaneously with the increase in their number. The interphase period, which takes place on the 3–7 day, is characterized by a decrease in the intensity of degranulation of non-phagocytic granulocytes and the restoration of their number.
