Dynamics of the cytokine status indicators in patients with external genital endometriosis in early postoperative period under the influence of radon theraphy and gnrh agonists

The aim of the study was to develop and pathogenetically explain a method of medical rehabilitation of patients with endometrioid heterotopias in ovaries with impaired reproductive function in the early postoperative period using radon therapy and GnRH agonists. The objects were 80 patients with external endometriosis who underwent laparoscopic surgery. Patients were randomized into two groups. The first group (40 patients, control) was observed in outpatient department and received Dekapeptil-depot, the second – received spa treatment in Pyatigorsk clinic: complex radon treatment (radon baths, radon gynecological irrigation and microclysters of radon water). Complex spa and medical treatment resulted in a statistically significant improvement in the patients’ status and a decrease in cytokine activity. In general, the described use of therapeutic factors provides a significant sanogenetic effect.
