Pneumatic compression in clinical practice: possibilities of therapeutic effects on the peripheral vascular bed

This review highlights recent data on the use of pneumatic compression in clinical practice in patients with diseases of the peripheral vascular bed. The aspects of pneumocompression efficacy and safety in the prevention of venous thromboembolic events, in treatment of chronic venous insufficiency and chronic lower limbs ischemia are
discussed.
