The estimation of efficiency of femoral bone subchondral tunnelization in the complex therapy of stage 1 posttraumatic gonarthrosis in teenagers

The arthroscopy with or without subchondral tunelization of the femur was performed in 135 male adolescents with posttraumatic gonarthrosis of the 1st stage and I-II degree of chondromolation of articular cartilage. In patients who did not perform tunneling, the disease decompensated in 12 months following the arthroscopy. In cases of tunneling, the disease after 3 months passed into the stage of subcompensation and stabilized for the entire observation period.
It is proved that the use of the developed technology of femoral tunnelization in adolescents with stage I gonarthrosis improves the results of complex treatment.
