Inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses odontogenic origin in persons of younger age groups

The article presents the results of the evaluation of clinical and radiographic progression of odontogenic diseases of the maxillary sinuses in persons in the younger age groups. All under the supervision there were 29 children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 years with odontogenic inflammatory diseases of the maxillary sinuses. It is established that a comprehensive survey and a targeted rehabilitation of the oral cavity in children are necessary and effective in the prevention of odontogenic lesions of the maxillary sinuses. In the transition of acute to chronic sinusitis, surgical intervention is required in the maxillary sinus, odontogenic cysts like radicular and follicular, sprouted in the maxillary sinus, the treatment should be surgical only.
