Body mass index and aging rate indicators physical state of elderly women

The physical state of elderly women is studied using body anthropometry and bioimpedance analysis. Index evaluation included determination of body mass index and the calculation of the aging rate by method of A. G. Gorelkin and B. B. Pinkhasov (2010). Determination of the body mass index has allowed to establish the prevalence of obese
women (50.89 %) and overweight women (31.36 %) in the studied sample. Significant differences between the physical state indices are revealed, as well as the uneven aging rate of elderly women with different body mass index.
