The experimental model of oxidative stress allows to evaluate the antioxidant effects of the test methods of free radical oxidation in the body (the use of drinking diet with a reduced content of deuterium, the use of bioadditive with glutathione). By modeling of the oxidative stress an increase in the maximum chemiluminescence flash in plasma at 87,1 % was observed, while the number of paramagnetic centers in the tissues of the internal organs also significantly increased: liver – 66,3 %, kidneys – 114,8 %, heart – 30,9 % (p<0,05). The data of isotope exchange (D/H) were received. They showed a decrease in deuterium in the rats’ blood to the level of 117,6±1,2 ppm, and in tissues of the internal organs to the level of 129,8–142,1 ppm. Its effect on the indicators of antioxidant body defense in oxidant stress conditions was established by means of increasing the content of SH-groups and other low molecular antioxidant factors in the blood. Glutathione and water-based antioxidant with a modified isotopic composition reduces the intensity of oxidative metabolism in the body.
