Cardiovascular pairing: modern methods of estimation, prognostic significance and possible clinical use in acute decompensation of chronic heart failure

Chronic heart failure takes one of the leading places in the structure of cardiovascular events. More than half of these patients, according to a study ЭПОХА-ХСН, has preserved systolic left ventricular function. Despite the accumulated over the years, an impressive experience of diagnosis and treatment of these patients, the mortality rate due to chronic heart failure continues to be one of the leading health problems of the Russian Federation. It is important to discuss, based on the data of modern methods of inspection, modification of the cardiovascular coupling, effective arterial stiffness and end-systolic left ventricular stiffness as potential therapeutic targets for a more accurate picture of the impact of interventions on cardiac function.
