Clinical and morphological background for application of the composite paste in biological treatment of pulpitis

The article presents the results of the clinical and experimental study of the new composite paste effectiveness in acute focal pulpitis. 16 teeth extracted from four adult dogs were used in the experiment. Morphological studies of the dental pulp after toothpaste application showed early normalization of all structural components of the pulp and acceleration of reparative processes. 146 patients were involved in the clinical part of the study. 117 patients showed positive response. 29 patients complained of pain in the area of treated teeth; reduction of EDP to 30–40 mA was registered, which required surgical treatment.
