Currently, to search markers of susceptibility to ischemia and postreperfusion injury of kidney during nephron sparing surgery in terms of warm renal ischemia, as well as to determine fundamental molecular biological processes that underlie this phenomenon, it is appropriate to study the expression of apoptosisregulating genes. By quantitative real-time PCR was performed determination of the relative expression of 14 genetic loci (MDM 2, BAX, CASP7, CASP3, CASP8, CASP9, BCL2, CASP8/FADD, p53, APAF1, AIFM1, ICAD, XIAP, HIF1A). The study identified genes – CASP3, CASP8, CASP9, CASP8/FADD and HIF1A, whose expression allows prediction of the acute renal injury development in patients with cancer after nephronsparing surgery in terms of warm renal ischemia.
