The purpose of the study is to optimize the approach to prevention and treatment of syndrome of a vegetative dystonia (SVD) at school age in secondary educational institutions.
We conducted a comprehensive assessment of the health status of 1265 schoolchildren from 7 to 17 years old. We evaluated the functional status of the vegetative nervous system in schoolchildren with SVD. We determined the spare capacity of the cardio-respiratory system in children of school age with functional tests at the beginning and at the end of the school year. We have developed a rehabilitation program for these groups of pupils, under which we worked during the school year. At the end of the specified term, the results indicate a positive trend, especially among schoolchildren of the 1st group. The effectiveness of their rehabilitation was 92 %.
Conclusion. The proposed rehabilitation program of students with a syndrome of vegetative dystonia in terms of educational institutions is effective and contributes to the possibility of completing a full course of rehabilitation, without disrupting the educational process.
