It was established that an evident increase in number of children with celiac disease was marked from the beginning of the 2000s. It was revealed that duration of latency period of the disease decreased from the moment of manifestation till verification of diagnosis in each subsequent group. During prolonged breastfeeding glutencontaining feeding was introduced into the diet of the child at a later period.
