Efficiency of therapeutic-orthopedic measures in complex treatment of periodontitis on the background of partial loss of teeth and traumatic occlusion

The results of clinical-cytochemical studies of patients with various kinds of partial defects of tooth alignments on the background of periodontitis and traumatic occlusion in comparative aspect and in a combination with complex therapeutic measures have shown, that the most optimal variants of prosthetics is application of splinting clasp dentures.

The analysis of cytochemical results after denture clasp prostheses in the nearest and remote terms reflects the increase of activity of enzymes and dehydrogenases above the initial parametres. Application of fixed dentures on the background of periodontitis of moderate severity
in a combination with a functional overload is fraught with complications in the nearest terms after prosthetics.
