Distinctive virtual measurements of 3D biometric analysis and 3D occlusography in patients with class II malocclusion during the permanent dentition stage

The article offers an overview of employing cone-beam computed tomography and a T-Scan III biofunctional diagnostic device to identify the link between dental arch distal ratio and digital and graphic occlusal indices. The study involved 134 patients with distal arch ratio who underwent digital occlusiography, which resulted in a comparative analysis of digital occlusal indices (occlusal contact time, number of occlusal interferences, maximum grip force rate, occlusal balance). There was statistical analysis carried out aimed to identify the link between the dental arch distal ratio and the biofunctional features of occlusion. The data obtained can be used for interdisciplinary consultation as well as for designing digital treatment and diagnostic schemes for comprehensive treatment of adult patients.
