Hospital care quality in patients with dupuytren’s contracture in Stavropol region (according to the data of non-departmental examination)

The structure of medical care mistakes in 35 hospital patients with Dupuytren’s contracture of the the 3rd degree and two or more simultaneously affected fingers was studied. Subject examination has revealed 334 mistakes: of history taking – 49,3 % (n=164), diagnosis – 18,3 % (n=61), treatment approach – 23,4 % (n=78), continuity – 9,0 % (n=31). Results of non-departmental expertise point out the low level of medical care quality in the cases of Dupuytren’s contracture. Multiple mistakes were revealed in every case. Mistakes of the 2nd rank (t>3) were predominant. This fact calls for special measures to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture.
