Status and dynamic of socially significant diseases in the regions of the north caucasus federal district

The main purpose of the article was to evaluate the dynamic of socially significant diseases in the regions of North Caucasus Federal District in comparison with other Federal territories. The study results demonstrate a favorable situation in the North Caucasus Federal District. The most and least prosperous regions of this district were reveled. The authors concluded that successful experience of reduction of socially significant morbidity at certain regions should be replicated in other less prosperous regions.
The primary and secondary statistical methods were applied on the background of data base of Russian State Statistics Committee.
