Recent years have witnessed a stable growth in the incidence of cholecystolithiasis and respective complications. Despite the numerous surgical treatment methods available to deal with the said pathology, there is no single approach to treating choledocholithiasis affecting children. A clinical observation demonstrated the experience of simultaneous surgical treatment (laparoscopic cholecystectomy and endoscopic papillosphincterotomy) in a child with cholecystocholedocholithiasis. The Case Report features the effectiveness and safety of the procedure in question, provided there is an experienced multidisciplinary team of surgeons and endoscopists involved. Employing this surgical technique allowed reducing the intervention trauma rate, the amount of anesthesia, as well as shortening the hospitalization period and avoiding possiblerecurrence of choledocholithiasis and its complications in the future.
