Predicting the risk of developing inflammatory changes in the soft tissues of the prosthetic bed in dental orthopedic patients

In order to determine the microbiological criteria for predicting the risk of inflammatory changes in denture bed tissues, a laboratory study of biomaterial from patients with dental defects in the presence and absence of clinical manifestations of the inflammatory process was carried out. It is shown that the detection of Escherichia coli bacteria, Candida spp. and periodontopathogens allows predicting the risk of inflammatory changes in the soft tissues of the denture bed, which is of particular interest for the prevention of denture stomatitis at the stage of planning dental prosthetic treatment.
