This study aims to evaluate the effect of jaws distal relationship on precise and personalized 2D-angular and linear parameters of the TMJ using cone-beam computed tomography. All 134 patients participating in the study underwent CBCT, which resulted in a comparative analysis of 2D-angular parameters of TMJ convergence (mesognathic, dolichognathic and brachygnathic) and linear 2D-parameters of the mandible heads (in sagittal and transverse dimensions). Statistical analyzes were performed to identify the relationship between jaws distal relationships and TMJ parameters. The data obtained can be used to improve diagnosis and improve the quality of treatment for patients with the stated pathology.
