We examined 50 patients aged from 35 to 73 years with a diagnosis of breast cancer who underwent inpatient treatment at the Stavropol Regional Clinical Oncological Dispensary. A full clinical examination and treatment was carried out. Patients were also characterized by indicators of tumor growth: positive dynamics, stabilization, progression of the process. The content of alpha-N acetylgalactosaminidase (NAG), as well as the content of autoantibodies (AAT IgG) to it were determined in the blood serum. An increase in the NAG indicator was established, which indicates progression (in 42.9 % of cases) or stabilization of the tumor process (in 50 % of cases). At low concentrations of NAG, progression of the tumor process is observed only in 7.1 % of cases. Thus, we can talk about the diagnostic significance of NAG and autoantibodies in the diagnosis of malignant neoplasms and assessment of the effectiveness of antitumor therapy for breast cancer.
