The relationship of cell adhesion molecules with external and visceral manifestations of connective tissue dysplasia in young patients with acute coronary syndrome

[Abstracts]
Alexey Mikhailovich Eremenko;

In the study was to compare the plasma levels of cell adhesion molecules – E, L, P-selectins and type 1 adhesion molecules – intercellular (ICAM) and vascular endothelial adhesion (VCAM) with some external and visceral manifestations of connective tissue dysplasia in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The study included 72 patients under the age of 44 years. A connection was found between plasma concentrations of selectins and other adhesive molecules and certain types of connective tissue dysplasias, including keeled deformity of the chest and scoliotic deformity of the thoracic spine, which characterizes the ability of the latter to participate in the formation of an imbalance in the profile of adhesive molecules, endothelial dysfunction as one of the causes of the development of cardiovascular events at a young age.
