The formation of metabolic syndrome is closely related to android obesity and the developing dysfunction of adipose tissue, one of the manifestations of which is a violation of the production and functions of adiponectin. In our review, we will talk about the participation of adiponectin in the pathogenesis of obesity and metabolic syndrome and about the possibility of correcting hypoadiponectinemia using transcranial electrical stimulation, which affects the endorphinergic protective system of the brain and has other pleiotropic effects.
