The concentration of NAG and DBP and autoantibodies to them in the blood serum of patients with breast and lung cancer at the Stavropol Regional Clinical Oncology Center was assessed in order to determine the correlation of indicators with tumor size, the presence of metastases, and lymph node involvement. 15 patients undergoing inpatient treatment were examined. Of these, 10 people had breast cancer (women aged 41–69 years) and 5 – lung cancer (2 women and 3 men aged 55–72 years). It was revealed that patients with phenomena of tumor transformation found an increase in the level of NAG in blood serum. At the same time, an increase in the content of NAG correlates with the size of the tumor and the presence of metastases. In turn, the level of DBP in patients was below normal values. However, in patients with higher NAG values, higher levels of DBP in the blood were found, which possibly reflects the adaptive response to the high activity of NAG.
