One of the frequent complications of the surgery for extracerebral tumors of the pontine-cerebellar angle are the staticdynamic disorders, that in some cases can significantly limit the life expectancy, worsening patients quality of life in the long term. Assessment of the static-locomotor functions, based on the scales «Stability of standing» and «Functional categories of walking», showed moderate disturbances in patients with continued tumor growth in the anamnesis; in patients with a detected tumor, there were usually no primary static-locomotor disturbances in the long-term period (p<0.01 and 0.05, respectively). Questionnaire «SF-36» (The Short Form-36 Health Status Survey) was taken as a basis for studying the quality of patient’s life after surgery. Patient’s static-dynamic disorders lead to a deterioration in the quality of life in all subscales, including general overall health indicators: PHsum – «physical component of health» – 46.1±0.8 (p<0.001) and MHsum – «psychological component of health» – 69.4±1.6 (p<0.05). The presence of static-dynamic disorders in the long-term period leads to the restriction of mobility, to dependency of others, which causes psychological changes in patients, changes their social activity and leads to decreasing in their quality of life.
