Method of pancreatocystogastrostomy in the prevention of postoperative complications with pancreatic head cysts

In an experiment on 18 mongrel dogs, a new method of pancreatocystogastrostomy was developed, which consists in the formation of a junction between the cyst cavity and the posterior wall of the pyloric-antral section, followed by restoration of the continuity of the gastrointestinal tract. In the postoperative period, from 1 day to 6 months, the excretory and endocrine functions of the pancreas, the level of acidity in the pyloric-antral part of the stomach were studied.
