The aim: to study GERD association with erosive ulcer lesions of gasroduodenal area mucosa in schoolchildren of ethnic populations of Siberia. We carried out cross-questionnaire for schoolchildren of 7 to 17 years aimed at gastric intestinal complains: 894 Mongoloids and 641 Europoids in Tyva Republic; 622 Mongoloids and 168 Europoids in Buryatia and 376 Mongoloids and 993 Europoids in Evenkia. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy was performed for the children picked up by random, those having gastrointestinal complains (283 schoolchildren in Tyva, 205 in Evenkia and 110 in Buryatia). GERD frequency among Siberia schoolchildren amounted to 6.4 %. Indices for Tyva were 9.5 %, which was higher than in Buryatia (4.1 %; p=0.01) and Evenkia (4.2 %; p=0.01). The highest indices refered to Tyva Mongoloids as compared to Evenkia and Burytia Mongoloids. Among the Europoids the highest indices were also found in Tyva. Destructive process of stomach and duodenum mucosa in the examined subjects was 10.7 % (in 15.5 % in Tyva as compared to 7.3 % in Buryatia (p=0.03) and 5.9 % (p=0.01) in Evenkia). In children with erosive ulcer lesions of gastroduodenal area the comorbidity of esophagus tract lesion was more frequent. The severity of the imposition of GERD and the destructive process in the mucosa of the gastroduodenal zone in Siberian schoolchildren has territorial features.
