Pro-inflammatory interleukins in blood serum were studied in 45 newborns with hypoxic-ischemic defeats of the central nervous system. Revealed an increase in the levels of IL-1β and IL-6. High levels of IL-1β, IL6, IL-8, IL-18 were determined in children with unfavorable neurological outcomes of cerebral ischemia. The obtained data allow to consider an increase level of IL-1β and IL-6 in newborns as risk factors for adverse neurological outcomes of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy.
